Chapter 1
A dream that never came true...

Are you bold enough to believe you can change the world?
Well the younger me sure was.

I dreamt of a world were people love living. Where they could pursue their dreams and enjoy their passions freely...
"live and let live" as they say
I strived to create this dream world with all I had.

"What can I do? What can I do?"
That question haunted me day and night. This wasn't a movie, it was real life. And even being young I knew everyone has a mind of their own.
Then It struck me.

Sure we all think differently, but underneath what really drives us are feelings.
Maybe I can empower people, create something to make them feel at home, and inspire them to do the same for others.
And luckily music was on my side.

Because music does percisely that, it can transform a person from the inside and change how they see the world.

That, I thought... is plenty.
So I gathered like minded individuals.

People who, little did I know, would one day become family. A band of musicians with backgrounds so diverse and personalities so different...

but somehow strangely compatible.
Six years we struggled.

It was a tough road

We were unexperienced, people loved our music, our mesage, but we lacked the skills to navigate the musical industry.

Life caught up to us and earning a living became a must that slowly drove us apart.
We failed...

Our band, our dreams were gone.
Was I just going to give up?

Waking up...
The harsh reality of an Artist’s life haunted me for a while

Bear in mind that at this point I had been immersed in music for 11 years. I studied musical composition professionally and worked as a musician.
Nothing seemed to be fulfilling anymore…

I found myself surrounded by music but I couldn’t love it anymore. I struggled day and night to survive. Constantly comparing myself with others.
Wondering: “Am I enough?”
What ever happened to my old cheerful self... to my dream?

2 years went by.
I’m not gonna lie, I was in a bad place

I was luckier than many though. My family, friends and girlfriend stood by me and helped me through the rough patch.
I can’t live like this!

”If I can’t find a path to take in this industry, I’ll make one myself!”

And so I set out to do precisely that.
It was the summer of 2019 when I finally began my journey towards a better life.

I knew that everything I lived through was meant to be somehow. I now understood the struggle and the problems musicians face.
A spark of my old life lit a small fire inside me

It wasn’t a huge flame, but at least I felt that I could create a better path to follow now. But, doing it only for my benefit, wouldn't ever be enough.
My dream has always been to change the world

The least I could do was help others achieve theirs…

Soundgig
So I took the first step.

of that proverbial 1000 mile journey. And the idea of an alternative to the current musical industry started brewing in my head.
Something secure, tangible and accessible.

For Artists and Fans alike. A self sustaining ecosystem of music abundant with opportunity and exciting new experiences.
A project so ambitious that is years ahead of its time!

And after months of hard work and planning the first sketch of the final vision came to be…
But, whats an idea worth if it remains an idea?

I was living everyday out of my confort zone. I found mentors and enrolled in an Elite entrepreneurship program.
Trying to find the way to realize… my dream.
Come march 2020, and I think we all know what happens here…

Living outside of the confort zone doesn’t even begin to describe this unbelievable year.

It was mind-blowing how the musical industry was struck by COVID-19.
But they say opportunity is found amidst the chaos.

And boy they were right! The situation forced me to break down the ultimate vision and start by solving problem #1:
The lack of an audience.
Soundgig was born…
Its been a long road, but we are yet to give that second step…

At least thats how it feels.
There’s so much to do.But every day more people join our cause. Music lovers who believe in the power of music and its importance to life as we know it.
I know we’ll get there, I know we’ll change the world!

Because who would've known that giving up gets you nowhere. And together,

everything is possible…
